flat faceda 20 min live performance created for New Work Network Live Art Platform at Colchester Arts Centre March 2009 where fellow artist Che Kevlin also performed. flat faced sprang from a very private performance which involved burning the past...memories, clothes, lives. items that survived the fire, and the ash created, were key to flat faced and its theme of transformation. a hole forms...deep inside...a hole deep...a hole unfillable...a hole filled...with precious memories... invisible, untouchable, past... memories...priceless, irreplaceable , part of me...
